As you can see from our example, our workpiece does not have nice, round surfaces, but has several edges.
The visualization of your workpiece is anything but optimal.
We can change this by taking a look at our display settings.
Heinrich Flaum shows you how to improve the resolution of your display in NX.
Step by Step
We go to the top right of our window under More - Preferences.
A dialog window will open: visualization preferences. Here we go to Performance - Accuracy - Advanced and change the resolution from Standard to Fine.
If we click Apply, our round geometry will be displayed round. If you want the setting to be even finer, you can also set the resolution to Ultra Fine. This will give you an even finer display.
By the way: we recommend to adjust and save this setting in your templates.
With a few clicks you can change the resolution of your display in Siemens NX and get an optimized visualization.
