30 Years of JANUS Engineering AG: Sindelfingen Economic Development Agency Congratulates Company on Its Anniversary

For three decades, JANUS Engineering AG has been developing solutions that help companies around the world make their manufacturing processes more efficient, reliable and future-ready. To mark the anniversary, Economic Development Director Felix Rapp visited the Sindelfingen-based company at its city-centre location and recognised its successful development and importance to Sindelfingen as a business location.

During his visit, he presented Patrick Miekautsch, Chief Business Officer of JANUS Engineering AG, with a certificate marking the company’s 30th anniversary on behalf of the City of Sindelfingen and WSG.

Successful Worldwide

JANUS Engineering AG was founded in 1996 as JANUS Engineering Deutschland and has since developed into an internationally active specialist in digital manufacturing processes. The company supports customers in planning, simulating and continuously optimising production processes with the aid of modern software solutions. Digital twins enable manufacturing processes to be represented virtually, allowing errors to be identified at an early stage and costs to be reduced.

Today, JANUS Engineering AG serves renowned national and international companies from a wide range of industries, including the automotive industry, mechanical engineering and the high-tech sector. The company is also a certified Siemens Solution Partner and was recognised in 2025 as Siemens “Top EMEA Partner – Manufacturing Engineering”.

Skilled Employees as the Company’s Most Important Asset

In addition to technological expertise and an international presence, JANUS Engineering AG places considerable emphasis on long-term employee retention. The company invests in the professional development of its skilled employees, offers flexible working models and operates its own training centre at its Gartenstraße location, where external professionals also receive further training.

The close relationship between the company and its employees was also evident during the anniversary visit. Following the presentation of the anniversary certificate, Harald Schick, who worked at JANUS Engineering AG for 21 years, was honoured on the occasion of his retirement. His connection to the company will continue, as his daughter Jessica also works for JANUS Engineering AG.

JANUS Engineering AG employs 45 people at its Sindelfingen location at Gartenstraße 19 and approximately 90 people worldwide. The company has international subsidiaries in Switzerland, France, Austria, Hungary and the United States.
